Still Losing!!!

Another 2lb gone this week, putting me not far off the (X-1) and a half stone mark.

Just 1 more stone and I have reached the weight I was at 18.

Though I am encouraged, I don't think I'll ever get to my lowest weight again - thats 6lb 4 :)

I have to admit that I have relaxed off the diet quite a bit now and am just relying on the 30 miles or so a week that I'm running. Having said that, although I am tending to eat some naughty things, I am not eating anywhere near the volume I used to.

You must give these a try - frozen bananas! Just unzip them from their skins, wrap them in tin foil and put them in the freezer.

They taste exactly like ice cream.

And on slimming world, they are free food so you can eat them til they come out of your ears.

I wouldn't eat too many bananas, they are high in sugar and so high in calories. Plus they are fast-release food, so you're bllod sugar will come crashing down after an hour or there abouts.

When my blood sugar was being monitored due to my son's large size at birth the medics told me not to eat more than one banana a day and to go easy on the fruit juice in order to keep to a healthy diet.

An apple is slow release food, so 'keeps hunger locked up for longer'.

I think it would be best to eat the apples unfrozen, Lucy. :D

And I hate to say it, but they are probably better for you when not in pies. But...

Well done Evo

I am really proud of you!!

Frozen Bananas are the best aren't they.
And they have vital minerals and vitamins for us. If they are frozen you can take your time eating them and even make a dip using Weight Watchers fromage frais with fruit at the bottom, or even more fun dip them into Ovaltine Chocolate (low fat version).

True you shouldn't eat too many I have one a day and I am doing ok.
Try freezing grapes too they are supposed to be like cold boiled sweets.

Keep going lovely you're doing really well.

Love Daisy
